responsibilities:
Leading a strong and vibrant human resource (HR) function
that ensures SCI is capable
of attracting, training and retaining high quality employees
who will contribute to the achievement of SCI’s vision and objectives.
Specific Duties:
• Developing and updating HR policies and procedures in line
with acceptable labour laws, practices and SCI vision.
• Managing the recruitment process, development and
implementation of performance management systems in line with the SCI strategic
and operational plans, including staff trainings.
• Managing employee relations, welfare and benefits in
accordance with the HR policy.
• Preparation and review of employment contracts.
• Providing advice and counsel on HR management principles
to all departments.
Qualifications and
Experience:
• A post graduate diploma in HR management.
• A bachelor’s degree in Human Resource or other management
courses.
• Membership of professional HR associations is an added
advantage.
• At least four years of progressively responsible
experience in HR management positions. other attributes:
• Strong problem solving skills and making strategic
decisions.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally, and in writing.
• Knowledge of national employment and labour laws.
Terms and Conditions:
The remuneration shall be based on qualification and
experience, in line with the existing scales at SCI.
