Brief Company Profile:

Our client, a Well Established Home for elderly people is looking for a House Manager. The Manager will be responsible for the smooth day to day operation of the facility and ensure the welfare of the residents is paramount. The essential role of the Manager is the welfare of the residents and each resident MUST be known personally and their well-being both physical and mental monitored on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise closely with the administrator on petty cash records, collated invoices and statements, collating information from meal book and issue accurate statements of accounts to each resident monthly.

• Liaise with the administrator on ordering kitchen supplies weekly.

• Liaise with treasurer/administrator on weekly food costs.

• Ensure all staff cover their appointed duties.

• Ensure public areas are kept clean and hygienic.

• Check laundry is being done properly and returned to correct rooms.

• Organize events and entertainment.

• Ensure water, electricity, gas and generator are kept in good repair and functioning.

Qualification:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years prior experience in similar position.

• Must have a bachelors degree/diploma in hospitality.

• Must have ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Must have comprehensive knowledge of health & safety.

• Must have strong skills with inventory control.

• Must be detail orientated.

• Committed to excellent service.

• Excellent communication & organizational skills.
